Pistachio Rose Cardamom Latte
This caffeine & lactose free latte will make you feel alive & vibrant!
Ingredients
- 1 cup shelled raw pistachio 
- 3 cups of water 
- Pinch of salt 
- 4 cardamom pods, lightly crushed 
- 1/2 tsp rose water 
- 1 tsp vanilla extract 
- 1 tsp beet or dragon fruit powder 
- Dried rose and pistachios to garnish (optional) 
Directions
- Place pistachios in a bowl and cover with water. Let it soak for 10 hours or overnight 
- Drain and rinse pistachio 
- Put pistachio and water, pinch of salt in a blender and blend until smooth. 
- Strain through a cheesecloth or nut-milk bag. Save the pulp. Later you can add to your smoothies, oatmeal and soups. 
- Transfer the pistachio milk to a pot, add the cardamom, rose water, vanilla and pitaya or beet powder. Bring to a simmer over medium heart for 8 minutes. 
- Remove from heat, strain through a fine mesh sieve. Froth using electric frother, and serve with dried rose petals and pistachio nuts)
